This demo will review several different methods and tools for mounting pieces on a lathe. This will give you the opportunity to see first-hand a mix of techniques and real-life experiences you may not have seen before.

Trent will go through all the techniques used in the creation of a hollow form with an emphasis on the latest technologies. This demo is designed for anyone at any level of turning.

Like platters and want to learn where to begin? Or maybe you are looking for a new platter design? Well, join us for our March demonstration where Keith Gotschall will be showing us how he turns an offset platter.

While working in our shops, we woodturners sometimes tempt disaster. The very nature of standing in front of a lathe with a hunk of wood balanced between two points spinning anywhere from 300 to 4,000 RPM, attacking it with a hunk of strong steel is, naturally, anathema to safety.
